Spyridon (Spiro) Antonopoulos is the Vice President of Professional Services at Solidus Labs, an AI-powered trade surveillance and compliance solutions provider. He leads the firm’s global services practice, delivering tailored compliance and investigative solutions for financial institutions, regulators, and digital asset firms. With nearly 20 years of experience in financial services, Spiro has advised major institutions across crypto, fintech, banking, and insurance on regulatory strategy, risk management, and operational resilience. At Solidus, he oversees engagements spanning risk assessments, model tuning, policy design, and complex onchain/offchain investigations. He has led trainings and consultations with regulators worldwide, and supports high-profile investigations into stablecoin activity, market manipulation, insider trading, and smart contract exploits. Prior to Solidus, Spiro held leadership roles at Guidehouse, Forrester Research, and Kuvacash, and has led large-scale transformation and compliance programs for firms including Prudential, PayPal, and Freddie Mac. In addition to his professional work, Spiro is also a classically trained opera singer, having performed across the U.S. and Europe. He holds a PhD from the City University of London and a BA magna cum laude from Brown University.
