For the past decade Spencer had been a Director in the 1st line of defense, specifically engaged in e-communication, voice recording, and trade controls. Working closely with the Front Office, Compliance, and IT, Spencer managed teams responsible for building controls around chat rooms and voice recording, as well as managing a team of data scientists building cross-product trade controls.
