Lindsay S. Moilanen is an Assistant Director for the Division of Enforcement in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s New York Regional Office and Market Abuse Unit where she oversees part of the SEC’s enforcement program in New York. Prior to becoming an Assistant Director in 2022, Ms. Moilanen worked in detail positions as Enforcement Counsel to Commissioner Jaime Lizárraga and Counsel to the New York Regional Director. She began her career at the SEC in 2015 and served as Senior Counsel in Enforcement. Before joining the SEC, she practiced law at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP. She received her LLM in Securities and Financial Regulation in 2020 from Georgetown University Law Center, her JD from University of Minnesota Law School in 2009, and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University in 2005.
