Lauren Schenker is a Managing Director and the current Head of Capital Markets Surveillance and Compliance Technology for Truist Securities, formerly SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. In her 15 years in the banking industry, she has spent 10 in trade surveillance and compliance where she started and built the capital markets surveillance program for SunTrust and now manages the team responsible for trade, e-communication, control room, and information barrier surveillance. Lauren started her career at Deutsche Bank where she worked as an Associate in Sales & Trading before receiving the opportunity to move into Compliance where she found her calling. Lauren currently resides in The Woodlands, Texas with her husband and 5 year old yellow lab, Paxton. Lauren and her husband are avid travellers and wine lovers.
